Both of my kids and I are in love with the television program Numberblocks! This program does a fantastic job of making math visual. Ninety episodes take them from number names and counting to a deep understanding of how addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division work. References to much more sophisticated ideas are also presented visually, usually without comment. Knowledgeable viewers can recognize both the Pythagorean theorem and the Fibonacci Sequence.
Since my children love to watch this show I have been keen to purchase all of the accessories:
